Breakfast in a Bag

Not literally breakfast in a bag but everything is all in one and it is super simple and taste good room temp for people that do not want to eat right away. I make these Thanksgiving eve.
You will need:
- 2 rolls of crescent dough
- 1/4 onion
- 10 eggs
- 6 pieces of whatever cheese you like, I used American and pepperjack
- shredded carrots
- 1/2 medium tomato, diced
- about 8 slices of turkey bacon
To start, unroll dough and keep it in squares, not rectangles. You should get 8 squares from the 2 rolls.
Cook onions, carrots, and tomatoes with a dash of seasoned salt together until onions and carrots are tender.
Scramble eggs without cheese while veggies cook.
Cook turkey bacon in butter until crisp, break into small pieces when done
In each square of dough, layer cheese, veggies, turkey bacon, eggs, then cheese again.
Wrap dough around filling and seal the long edge, don’t worry if its not perfect. I got lucky with one in the picture.
Bake about 10 minutes until golden brown.
My boys complained out the onions while eating 2 apiece, so it couldn’t have been that bad. My sis and nieces were over, they loved them and told my boys t be quiet and stop complaining. If not give them theirs 🙂
